Personas

User interviews were conducted remotely, via online mode with 12 interviewees, aged 19 - 66 years old.

Profile of interviewees - Catholics and non-Catholics; anyone who is keen to seek God.

Using insights gathered from user interviews, 2 personas were developed to guide the design decisions and priorities.

Problem

As Is Home Page

It’s dated as in it looks like a site from the early 2000s.

                                   - User 9

It is so outdated that it feels as though the place does not exist anymore.

                                    - User 5

Problem

Problem Statement

Potential retreatants find it difficult to continue their interaction with a website, that is, in their opinion, visually unappealing and outdated because their mental model of how a modern website design should look impact their confidence level in the product.

Solution Statement

We believe that by implementing widely-used website design standards and conventions that potential retreatants are familiar with, we will enhance the confidence level of the potential retreatants when they interact with the product. We will know this to be true when we see a reduction in negative feedback on the website design.
